We spent 2 nights anchored off Long Beach. We took the dingy to the east end of the beach and had a snorkel around the rocks. There were a few fish including trevally, wrasse, blue spotted ray & a couple of stingrays.

Later in the day we headed to the west end of the beach. On our way we came across King Billy 1 a boat we had briefly met in Laurieton & Byron Bay. It was great to catch up with them over a fire on the beach, dinner & a few drinks.
As the wind direction was changing to SE we lifted anchor to move around to the northern anchorages. We anchored off Leeke’s Beach near the Lagoon entrance, we found it a little rolley. We decided to move to Second Beach which we found much better.
We took the dingy ashore and walked around to Butterfly Bay. We came across a camp set up with table & chairs and a fire pit. Further along there was a little hut with deck chairs. Tucked behind this was an Eco Lodge. We met a guy who informed us that the fire pit was for the boaties, Yay! that’s us, so we decided to have sundowners & dinner ashore again.

We got the fire going & enjoyed another stunning sunset, before having lamb chops, sausages & grilled vegetables.
