We had a pleasant 10-15kn NE with 1m swell. Dean plotted a way point and Harry the Helm directed Time Flies straight to an island. “How can that be?” I asked Dean. A good look at the plotter our line was taking us directly to Digby Island but Time Flies was pointing at an island we had to pass to our starboard. Ahh, I forgot about the strong tides that occur up here. Just when we thought we could relax. Nup! We still have to study the tides & use them to our advantage.
Once we had set anchor it was time for a swim, we grabbed our snorkel gear and checked out a few bommies. Said a quick hello to Della-Rue before enjoying our first vegetarian chilli inspired by King Billy 1. Another early night before an 8hr sail to Mackay.

21.41 nm, 4 hr 30 min, avg speed 4.91 kn, total motor sailing 2 hr
